The race was updated in Dragon Magazine article Winning Races: Bladelings, giving more information about the race, adding the barbed body power, and a few usable feats. [Dr419:23]

Racial traits[]

As a player character race, bladelings receive the following racial traits.

Acid Resistance
Bladelings have resist acid 5 + one-half their level.
Barbed Body
Bladelings bodies have the barbed armor property. When you escape a creature's grab on your turn or a creature escapes your grab, it takes damage equal to 2 + one-half level. This does not stack with barbed armor or barbed shield.
Razor Storm
Bladelings can use razor storm as an encounter power.

Racial feats[]

Feat Prerequisite Benefit
Bladed Fists - Unarmed attacks deal 1d6 damage, and give +2 proficiency bonus for weapons.
Bladed Stalker Bladed Fists Unarmed attacks gain high crit weapon property.
Brutal Blades Razor storm Unarmed attack gains off-hand weapon, and razor storm increases to using d8 dice.
Improved Razor Storm Razor Storm Increases burst size of razor storm by 1, and a critical hit causes ongoing 5 damage (save ends)
