A field of sound punishes your enemy, and the sound becomes louder if your enemy tries to escape.

Target: One creature
Attack: Intelligence vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Intelligence modifier damage, and if the target is adjacent to you at the start of its next turn and moves away during that turn, it takes 1d6 + Constitution modifier thunder damage.
Booming blade is an at-will power available to swordmages at 1st level.[FRPG:27]
It is a good choice as the power does solid damage and makes you sticky, as well as doing respectable damage if they run away from you. [Char-op Swordmage]
Errata[]
- The hit line was changed from "start of its turn and moves away" with "start of its next turn and moves away during that turn."
