The contract killers are stealthy characters that consider themselves as professional killers in their proven expertise and need for coin. As an adventurer, they will take contracts for wanted individuals or monsters, yet this path provide a ground for steady income without concerns of morality. Assassins will often take this route, yet some rangers and rogues will typically take this route as well.
Contract Killer Features[]
Killer's Action (11th level): Whenever a contract killer spend an action point to use an attack power, each enemy nearby grants them combat advantage to until the end of their next turn.[1][BoVD:22]
Killer's Aggression (11th level): Whenever the contract killer hits an enemy they have combat advantage during the beginning of an encounter, the attack deals extra damage.[1][BoVD:22]
Fulfill Contract (11th level): An encounter-based martial attack power requiring the contract killer using an at-will attack power against an enemy that they have combat advantage on. This power grants a moderate power bonus to the attack, causes it to deals extra damage if the attack hits, and possible temporary hit points gained by making the target bloodied or reduced to 0 hit points.[1][BoVD:22]
Next to Die (12th level): A daily martial utility power that has the contract killer choose a nearby enemy to gain combat advantage for an encounter. In addition, the contract killer takes a minor penalty to attack rolls against creatures other than the target creature, and they can shift when the target creature shifts.
The amount of times the contract killer can use this feature increases as they level.[1][BoVD:22]
Hidden Threat (16th level): Whenever the contract killer is hidden, they gain a minor bonus to attack rolls.[1][BoVD:22]
Certainty of Death (20th level): A martial daily power that requires the contract killer to hit a bloodied target with an at-will attack power and are hidden from the target. This power causes the attack to deal a high amount of extra damage to the target and is granted combat advantage against the target for a short time.[1][BoVD:22]
