"In your next life, stay out of my way.”[1][FRPG:48]

All warlocks make dangerous bargains with powers far beyond mortal understanding yet most do so cautiously. Darkwalkers play off their dark pact with patrons of evil for greater power, caring little for their well-being in greater devotion. Many fear they might become them as rumors of madness and spite often follow.

Drow are among the most common darkwalkers in the Forgotten Realms as they are those who make dark pacts in the first place with the likes of demon lords, e.g. Lolth.[1][FRPG:48]

Darkwalker Path Features[]

Deadly Absence (11th level): While you are insubstantial, you gain a bonus to damage rolls with warlock powers equal to your Intelligence modifier.[1][FRPG:48]

Darkwalker Action (11th level): Instead of spending an action point to take an extra action, you can spend an action point to become insubstantial until the start of your next turn.[1][FRPG:48]

Ghostken (16th level): Your attacks against insubstantial creatures deal normal (not half) damage.[1][FRPG:48]

Darkwalker Spells[]

Ghostly Bane (11th-level Attack): An encounter-based ranged action that causes a creature save against taking an amount of necrotic damage, and the darkwalker becomes insubstantial for a short duration.[1][FRPG:48]

Fading Spiral (12th-level Utility Power): An encounter-based free action when the darkwalker uses their Darkspiral Aura to become insubstantial for a short duration.[1][FRPG:48]

Wraithform Blast (20th-level Attack): A daily ranged action that causes one creature to save against taking a large amount of psychic and necrotic damage and an amount of ongoing psychic and necrotic damage. This ongoing damage lasts until the save is succeeded, a set duration in the encounter, or the darkwalker becomes bloodied.[1][FRPG:48]
