Khala

Khala was the goddess of winter in the Points of Light campaign setting. Near the end of the Dawn War between the gods and the primordials, she tried to take control over the rest of the gods and transform the mortal world into one of winter and savagery. This led to the War of Winter between the gods who opposed her on one side and Khala and her allies on the other. It ended with her defeat, and the Raven Queen banished her into death when she was promised to gain the godly domain of winter. The War of Winter led directly to the primal spirits banishment of both gods and primordials alike from the mortal world. It was said that Khala had been the mother of Kord, and that Zehir was her consort. Her allies during the War of Winter included Gruumsh and Tiamat.
