March of the Phantom Brigade is an adventure module played during the fourth D&D Encounters season.
It was the first encounters season to replace fixed magic item drops with a random treasure distribution, where magic items were determined by rolling a d20. [1]. Additionally, it reduced the character selection to those found in the Essentials books, simplifying character creation.
