Effect: The burst creates a zone that lasts until the end of the encounter. Difficult terrain within the zone costs 2 extra squares of movement to enter, instead of the normal 1 extra square. Hazards and traps within the zone gain a bonus to their attack rolls against the user's enemies equal to the user's Intelligence modifier.

Phantasmal terrain is a 2nd-level wizard daily utility power. It creates a zone until the end of the encounter. Within the zone, difficult terrain costs even more squares of movement to enter, and hazards and traps gain an attack roll bonus against the user's enemies.

Phantasmal terrain was originally published in the "Class Acts: Wizard" article about illusion powers by Rodney Thompson in Dragon #364.[Dr364:69] Phantasmal terrain was republished in Arcane Power with a range of area burst 3.[AP:103] The range was corrected back to area burst 2 in the April 2009 update.[U :4/2009]
