Primal wolverine
druid attack 5

You transform into a dire wolverine, snapping and biting at any foe foolish enough to attack you. Your fierce attack on a nearby foe rips muscle and tendon, slowing its movement.

Target: one creature

Attack: Wisdom vs. Reflex

Hit: 1d8 + Wisdom modifier damage. Ongoing 5 damage (save ends).

Effect: Until the end of the encounter, whenever any enemy makes a melee attack against the user while the user is in beast form and is able to take actions, the enemy takes damage equal to the user's Constitution modifier.

Primal wolverine is a 5th-level druid daily attack power. It is a beast form power that deals damage and ongoing damage on a hit, and half damage on a miss. In addition, whether primal wolverine hits or not, until the end of the encounter, enemies take Constitution-based damage when they make melee attacks against the user while the user is in beast form and able to act. Despite its flavor text, primal wolverine does not cause its target to become slowed.[PH2:87]
