Resolute shield
fighter attack 1

Requirement: using a shield

Target: one creature

Attack: Strength vs. AC

Hit: "1[W] + Strength modifier damage, and you gain resist equal to your Constitution modifier against the target's attacks until the end of your next turn.
"Increase damage to 2[W] + your Strength modifier at 21st level."[Dr382:45]

Resolute shield is an at-will power available to fighters at 1st level.

Resolute shield was introduced in the "Class Acts: Fighter" article about the School of Twenty Blades by Stephen Radney-MacFarland in Dragon #382.

It is considered a weak choice as it strongly depends on the fighter using constitution as a secondary ability (which is not guaranteed), and only applies to one target. [Charop fighter]
