A singing stick is a superior one-handed melee weapon in the mace weapon group.[DSCS:121]
A singing stick is a defensive, off-hand weapon, meaning that if the wielder is proficient with it they get a +1 to AC when holding it in one hand and another weapon is held in the other hand, and it can be used to attack even if it's held in a character's off-hand while wielding another one-handed weapon in their main-hand (though you can't attack with both weapons at the same time unless using a power that can attack with both weapons).
The ends of this 2.5-foot-long, narrow rod are carved to be slightly wider than the middle. It whistles as it spins in the hands of a proficient user.
No class has proficiency with the singing stick as a class trait, but any character can become proficient by taking a Weapon Proficiency feat.
