Slayer is a subclass of fighter introduced in Heroes of the Fallen Lands. Slayers are both strikers and defenders.[HotFL:146]

The other fighter subclasses are weaponmaster and knight.

The slayer is designed for use with the Mythic Slayer paragon path.

Class Features[]

  • Level 1: Heroic Slayer: Gain a bonus to the damage rolls of weapon attacks equal to your dexterity modifier
  • Level 1: Weapon Talent: Gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls of wepaon attacks.
  • Level 7: Pick one:
    • Brutal Axe: When you use power strike with a two-handed axe, you knock the target pront
    • Sweeping Sword: When you use power strike with a two-handed blade, you can slide each enemy adjacent to you 1 square.
    • Rapid Quarterstaff: When you use power strike with a staff, all enemies adjacent to you other than the target of power strike suffer damage equal to your Dexterity modifier.

11th level (Mythic Slayer)

  • Action point benefit: use a free action to make a melee basic attack either before or after the extra action.
  • Imrpoved power strike (+1 more use)

12th level (Mystic Slayer)

  • Reaping Axe
  • Serpentine Blade

13th level

  • Improved power Strike (+1 more use)

15th level

  • Heroic slayer damage increases to 5 + Dexterity modifier damage

16th level (Mythic Slayer)

  • +3 bonus to damage rolls while bloodied

16th level

  • Relentless Advance

17th level

  • Extra fighter stance

19th level

  • While wearing heavy armor: Resist 10+dexterity modifer damage from opportunity attacks

20th level (mystic slayer)

  • Use power strike and push the target 3 quares, or three additional squares if the triggering power already pushes the target

22nd level

  • Slayer's Defiance

23rd level

24th level

  • Ignore penalties for wearing heavy armor

25th level

  • Heroic slayer damage increases to 8 + Dexterity modifier damage

29th level

  • At start of turn, can make a saving throw against one effect that a save can end. Success prevents it from affecing you for the current turn. Failure still allows making the save at the end of the turn.
