Spectral hound
wizard utility 6

Effect: An illusion appears in an unoccupied square within range. The illusion does not occupy the square, but counts as an ally for the purpose of determining flanking. As long as the illusion is within 10 squares of its creator, its creator gains a +1 power bonus to all defenses and a +5 power bonus to Perception checks.

Sustain minor: The illusion persists. The illusion's creator can move it 5 squares, and its movement ignores difficult terrain. The illusion ends at the end of its creator's turn if it is out of its creator's line of sight.

Spectral hound is a 6th-level wizard daily utility power. It creates an illusion that can be used to flank enemies and to grant its creator a power bonus to defenses and Perception checks. The illusion's creator can take a minor action to sustain and move it.

Spectral hound was originally published in the "Class Acts: Wizard" article about illusion powers by Rodney Thompson in Dragon #364.[Dr364:69] Spectral hound was republished in Arcane Power with the implement keyword removed.[AP:105]
