Torc of the Younger Self is a neck slot magic item introduced in the Bazaar of the Bizarre: It's About Time article by Peter Schaefer in Dragon 430^[Dr430:25] . It is flavoured as having belonged to a past queen who always downplayed the power of the torc's potential control over her own aging effects.

The Torc is also used as the focus for the ritual Speak to the Youth Within. It is recommended that each time the Torc's daily power is used, that the user makes a DC 34 Arcana check. If this check is successful, the user of the item may be aware of the other function of the item but doesn't yet know the ritual. Obtaining the ritual instead requires research on the torc's history, which may either involve hired sages or undergoing a quest to a specific location.
