Game components in Unearthed Arcana are not considered normal game elements of D&D. As such, they will not appear in the compendium, and were not sanctioned for use in organized play events.

Gambler's Games Dragon Magazine 398 Rules for gambling and cheating. Includes a few sample games.
Ignorance is Blessed Dragon 398 A "what if" approach to deities.  Includes suggestions for gods that are apathetic, selfish, dark, disdainful, or any combination.  Also includes substitution powers for each class.
Combat Velocity Dragon 399 Suggestions to speed up combat:


  • Roleplay (monsters disengage as desired rather than fighting to the death)
  • Double character damage (almost cuts time in half, and makes characters feel powerful but prevents monsters form showing off)
  • Double everyone's damage (about 25% faster, could make things lethal)
  • Average damage (25% faster, but removes excitement of rolling dice)
  • Fewer monsters
  • Reduce player's choices (not handing out magic items, relying on auto-enhancement bonus)
  • Keeping it exciting (doesn't slow it down, but a fun game doesn't need to be fast.)
