Void assumption
voidsoul genasi racial utility

Effect: Until the start of the user's next turn, the user ceases to exist. During this time, the user can take no actions and has no line of sight or line of effect to any other creature, and no other creature has line of sight or line of effect to the user. At the start of the user's next turn, the user reappears in the square of his or her choice within 3 squares of the square the user left.

Void assumption is a racial encounter utility power available to genasi in the voidsoul manifestation. It is a minor action power that causes the genasi to cease to exist until the start of his or her next turn, at which point the genasi reappears up to 3 squares away.

Void assumption was introduced in the "Abyssal Genasi" article by Peter Schaefer in Dragon #380.[Dr380:19]

The scion of absence paragon path's Nonbeing Action feature causes a character to regain the use of void assumption when the character spends an action point to take an extra action.[Dr380:22]
